Wedding Special: Dare to be different - Alternative Wedding Styles

KMK is a mother-daughter collaboration in cold Minnesota. We have always been creators, whether it be through painting, sewing, or sculpting. Sheridyn McClain the mother has always sewn her whole life making her own prom dresses when she was younger as well as her graduation dress from a pattern she made from scratch.
The daughter Kaitlyn McClain, has always designed and painted, designing her own clothes for her mother to help her make and drawing as long as she could remember.

Our talents came together a few years ago when both driven by the desire to create we found costuming as an outlet. As we designed and grew our name we found that men and women didn’t necessarily need more costumes. They did need more clothes that they actually liked and were flattering to their bodies. Flattering to their body even when they maybe weren’t a model size.

Clothes are supposed to make you feel as beautiful not self conscious or uncomfortable about who you are. We are dedicated to create things for all sizes all shapes for a women or man who are tired of mainstream fashion and want a little bit of the fantastical in their typical day as well as on eventful ones. We bring imagination to life by making beautiful clothes for women and men of every size.

We create outfits from gorgeous bridal gowns to everyday wear from fabrics we hand pick to be high in quality, comfortable and elegant. We love neo-Victorian, Lolita and Gothic. Our clothing can be characterized and a modern twist of Steampunk, Japanese lolita and a lot of fantastical creation.” - Sheridyn & Kaitlyn

'Step into another place and time where beauty was timeless and woman dressed elegantly every day.'

“This dress was created from our love of the Victorian era, it was an era of fashion that was so flattering and enchanting on woman's bodies, in this wedding gown we wanted to create a unique silhouette that is still far from the bore of everyday wedding designs but modern enough to still be sleek and classy.”
